State Coverage Initiative Site provides a variety of research-based
tools for information about health insurance advocacy and the
establishment of a national healthcare program. Click on the

searchable by keyword. Provides a valuable source of insurance
advocacy information. SCI works with states to plan, execute, and
maintain health insurance expansions, as well as to improve the
availability and affordability of health care
coverage.

(UHCAN) Serves as a national resource and strategic
center to help build the capacity of the movement for health care
justice and facilitate the development of strategies to create a
U.S. health care system that is universal, comprehensive, high

Care for All California Health Care for
All-California is a nonprofit grassroots organization working for
high quality, universal, single payer health care. Their purpose
is to promote comprehensive universal health care using a single
public insurance fund and they closely track and support current
proposals that further this mission such as Senator Sheila
Kuehls' single payer health care bill.
Georgians for Health Care
Georgians for Health Care is uniting working families, small
business owners, seniors, health care workers, community leaders,
and policy makers to fight for affordable, quality health care
that we can all count on. Though primarily an advocacy
organization, the Web site also provides many useful links to
health care resources and information about health insurances
programs unique to Georgia.

Minnesota COACT Minnesota COACT is a coalition of unions,

Organizations The Northwest Federation of Community
Organizations (NWFCO) is a regional organization comprised of
four well-established statewide citizen action organizations
– Idaho Community Action Network (ICAN), Montana
People’s Action (MPA), Oregon Action (OA), and Washington
Citizen Action (WCA). Their mission is to strengthen state-based
community organizations and to execute regional campaigns that
address social and economic inequities. Issues include health
care access, food security, immigration, and economic
justice.

Action Washington Citizen Action is a statewide,
grassroots lobbying organization. With over 50,000 members, they
are the largest consumer advocacy group in the state. WCA works
on a range of issues including Medicare and Medicaid policy,
